Why I write

I started this page because I love creating diverse stories and with this platform, I can connect with people who create and want to read it too.

Now that the books are out, I hope to meet more people who also want more diverse books that share multiple narratives, identities and cultures because representation matters.

To be able to open a page and find yourself in it is no small feat, but it is my goal.

I shed light on diverse characters through their portrayals in my writing.

With most of my main characters being POC to let other POC know that they too can be the heroes in their own story.

I started writing because I wanted to see Nigerian / BIPOC characters in spaces that take on places of joy and them being the main focus because I wanted to read those kinds of books. I’m so glad I didn’t give up.
